The Mourning Lamp is an independently edited literary publication. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, publication, payment, or editorial feedback.
Editorial decisions are made at the discretion of the publication in accordance with its editorial process and stated submission guidelines.
Submissions
Your responsibilities as a submitting writer.
By submitting work, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that your submission complies with the guidelines in effect for that issue.
You remain responsible for ensuring that you own or control the rights needed to submit the work and that the work does not infringe the rights of another person.
Submission alone does not transfer copyright or publication rights to The Mourning Lamp.
Accepted Work
Publication rights are handled separately.
Writers whose work is accepted for publication will receive a separate contributor agreement describing the specific publication rights granted to The Mourning Lamp.
Copyright remains with the author except for the limited rights expressly granted in that agreement.
